All tests showed positive, Clearblue showing 3+ but I don't see or feel anything different.... Waiting for my midwife appointment but am I really pregnant? hmm

gunting Wed 11-May-16 22:51:17

Same thing happened here. Clearblue 3+... I was 9 weeks pregnant and hadn't noticed. grin

I had a very uneventful few months where I didn't vomit once or have any cravings or anything that you'd expect.

My son is 6 months old so I was definitely pregnant. Best of luck and embrace feeling fine!

Congratulations! flowers

The Clearblue week counter things aren't actually very reliable - your midwife will initially date your pregnancy from the first day of your last period (e.g. my last period was 1st March and so at the moment I'm treated as being just over 10 weeks until I have a dating scan at 12 weeks). But I got my BFP when I was six days late, and I had no symptoms at all for the first couple of weeks after that.

In fact, I remember telling my mum that I'd feel better if I had morning sickness because I'd feel like there was something going on in there. Morning sickness kicked in around week 6. Before then I was knackered and had mildly sore boobs but really didn't feel "pregnant". And some women never get symptoms at all, the lucky beggars.

I had no symptoms til 6 and a half weeks. I remember taking tests because I just didn't 'feel' pregnant. Then it all hit- nausea, sickness, dizziness, fatigue, spots... The lot.

I'm sure you're fine, maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones.

Thank you everyone, I feel much better smilesmilesmilesmile

Congratuations. I had four postive tests but it wasnt until the 12 week scan i realised maybe the tests were right. No symptoms at all.

MakiJ Thu 12-May-16 15:06:21

Thank you smile I see, I feel better I'm not the only one with zero symptoms grin I'm only 7 weeks, how about yourself?

StarkyTheDirewolf Thu 12-May-16 16:32:17

I'm 12 weeks and if I hadn't tested, I wouldn't have known, and probably still wouldn't know, if I didn't know, if you know what I mean?!

wispaxmas Thu 12-May-16 16:33:46

I had no pregnancy symptoms aside from a missed period and positive tests. Count yourself lucky!

sianihedgehog Thu 12-May-16 16:35:45

I had no symptoms at all other than missed period. And I got spotting, so not even really that. I'd not have known if I hadn't tested!

GinaBambino Thu 12-May-16 16:39:57

I had no symptoms other than the fact I had no symptoms! When I came on, normally I'd get the usual pregnancy symptoms ie sore boobs, sickness etc so when I didn't get them and missed a period I took a test and was 4 weeks pregnant! I think I cried (with happiness) for about a week.

MakiJ Thu 12-May-16 16:43:53

Awww I'm so happy for everyone that has responded thank you so much & congratulations smilesmile we are lucky flowersflowers

GinaBambino Thu 12-May-16 16:48:29

londonrach I remember holding my breath during the 12 week scan in case the sonographer said I'd been imagining the whole thing! I'm 36 weeks now but that was one weird day seeing baby for the first time.
flowers for OP, you'll be absolutely fine good luck and if you're like me, no symptoms meant no morning sickness! smile

ScarlettDarling Thu 12-May-16 16:55:19

I did 5 tests with my first baby and still didn't believe I was pregnant. They didn't do 12 week scans at my hospital so I had no evidence until my midwife took pity on me and let me listen to the baby's heartbeat at an appointment when I was 14 weeks! I didn't have a single symptom.

MakiJ Thu 12-May-16 17:38:05

ScarlettDarling shock wow, that may be what's gonna happen to me smile

Firsttimer16 Sat 14-May-16 18:22:25

I am exactly the same!! 8 weeks exactly today and I really could forget I was pregnant if I wasn't so paranoid about the lack of symptoms! If I really analyse everything I'm slightly tireder and my boobs feel slightly bigger, but if I wasn't prodding and poking to try and see I probably would never notice! I've actually booked a private early scan on Monday just as I can't quite get my head around it at the moment and think seeing something on a screen will help! The 12 week scan is still so far away!

Ignore all the standard pregnancy blurb which makes you feel like there's something wrong with you if you don't have symptoms - it seems like a lot of people don't and we should count ourselves lucky!

MakiJ Sat 14-May-16 18:38:49

On really wow I'm 8 weeks too smilesmilesmile how did you book your private scan? Maybe I should do the same Im tired of wondering whether I am just dreaming about the whole pregnancy blush

Firsttimer16 Sat 14-May-16 21:02:38

Maki I google "reassurance scans" near where I live. It cost £80 though confused but I'm going to have to tell some people who I'm spending the weekend with soon (the no drinking will be a complete give away!) so I wanted some reassurance it was ok before then as it is still 4 weeks to the 12 week scan. Will let you know how it goes.

MakiJ Sat 14-May-16 22:06:58

Cool flowers speak to you soon smile

Firsttimer16 Mon 16-May-16 21:08:15

Had my scan today and pleased to say saw a heartbeat and measured 7+6, so just slightly later than the 8+2 I thought. Still barely any symptoms - but all going well so far! So don't panic!

MakiJ Mon 16-May-16 21:27:57

HI all
We are ttc for 5 years now with PCOS.and over weight as well. Was on Clomid 50 mg for 3 months with no luck. And was on Clomid 100mg last month and got my first ever BFP this month. Been to GP last Monday (9/5/16) she said as I have got the clear lie digital positive she confirmed me that I am pregnant and said she will refer me to midwife. i am 5+4 now. But I feel like my period going to come any minute now. Any one of you feel the same. And other than this I have got no other symptoms. And do we get any extra care as we going to have a Clomid baby.
Please share your experiences with me
