Whenever I had the time I used to spend ages just doing my hair and makeup and taking my sweet time with each task....even if I was just going to the supermarket. It just gave me that confidence boost when I looked in the mirror.
But apart from that I just comfort ate junk food when I felt extra crappy and put my feet up quite a bit once I started my mat leave.

I've got a toddler so racking my brains here. Having a bath or just lying down is pretty much as good as it gets at the moment in terms of 'making myself feel good'.

Having a shower/bath and then using a nice smelling moisturiser all over!

I had my hair cut and eye brows threaded, it made me feel better to have some control over my body when the rest of me looks a mess!

Haribos, mainly.

All very good ideas - particularly the icecream and haribo.

Regular manicures, pedicures and eyebrow tints. Try my hardest to keep on top of body hair (becoming awkward at 29 weeks Blush) and moisturising and get my hair done every 6 weeks. This is stuff I did before but keeping it up now.
I also make sure I've got a nice maternity wardrobe and put a little make up on everyday - didn't used to wear make up very often but find it makes me feel a bit better even if it's just a bit of BB cream and mascara.
Oh and the occasional fake tan Grin

And a nice bubble bath every evening as its the only time I'm not in pain.
Aqua natal and pregnancy yoga make me feel good too!

I get a bubble bath pretty much every day now (31 weeks). I find aftwr work my whole body feels tense and achy and a bath makes me feel slightly more normal.

Regular naps. Clean bedding. Luxury bubble bath. Pedicure and manicure. Back massages from DH. Eating loads of crap and not feeling guilty. Hair treatments at home - slapping on hair mask or most of the bottle of a cheap conditioner and wrap head in cling film and then a towell.
A good cry.
Ice cream with spray cream and choc shot.

Hair and make up done everyday, watch what I'm eating work out regularly 2/3 times a week, do my eyebrows don't let my legs get hairy wear nice clothes, My first pregnancy I sat about eating crap n looking like crap telling myself it was fine because I was pregnant but actually it really affected my self esteem which I didn't really notice until I went back to work and rejoined the real world. This time I'm trying to stay as me as possible and not revert back to bad habits.

Another vote for keeping up with hair, makeup, waxing, pedicures etc and always trying to put together an "outfit" each day even if that just means a nice scarf over leggings and a vest.

Also relaxing in the evenings and as much sleep as possible.

Nice long bath/shower with favourite products, dye hair, nails done every couple of weeks (took advantage of this when pregnant, no time with 3yo & 5mo now sob!) fake tan if I could be arsed and lots of chocolate Grin

I hate being pregnant. Really hate it. Had hyperemesis with DD so was pretty much just a vomiting zombie for 38 weeks Sad.
This time around I've had what seems to be a pretty normal level of morning sickness (yay! No hospital admissions or medication!), but the tiredness is killing me what with running around after a crazy one year old! The only thing that makes me feel good and ready to face life is SLEEP! Even if it's just a 20 min power nap while DD is asleep, I feel awesome when I wake up. I'm glad when I don't have a very busy week, because I will sleep at every opportunity I get - that's when I feel like I look better too....but that's probably just because I feel better in general!

I took all your advice and went and got my nails done this eve. Now got that lovely 'I can't stop looking at my hands' feeling. Only problem is I don't have a bath in my stupid tiny pokey flat Angry having to drive round to my mum and dads when I want one - it is such a struggle to shave legs and maintain other areas when I have this huge belly! Tempted to ask my oh to shave my legs for me but don't know if that will just completely kill the romance? Not sure about the hair thing; so many conflicting arguments in the can you die your hair when pregnant debate that I have just so far decided to steer clear.

I didn't, nothing I did made me feel good. DS is 4months old and I feel even worse now, as I have no bump, just flab, stretch marks and incontinence! Sorry.

I'm 41 +2 and have given up feeling anything but utter shite. I had morning sickness till around 26 weeks and even then still the occasional bouts of sickness right up to 37 weeks. I have hideous SPD and I can't do anything. It's mostly food based unfortunately, as my double chins can testify.

I'm so jealous! You both don't have long left which means baby will be out! I can't wait for my little womb hijacker to be out.
