My arse is killing me!

I'm 26 weeks and my bum muscles are killing me. I've been getting some pelvis and hip pain to, but mostly in my bum. It feels like cramp, but really deep inside and mostly on the right, but tonight both sides are going for it. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like it might be sciatica. Pretty common in pregnancy, and a pain in the bum, so to speak. :) There's not much you can do about it, as far as I know, apart from normal painkillers. When I've had it it tends to come and go.

Argh, it really is a pain in the ass! Fingers crossed it's not so bad today...I've got decorating to do!

Me too!! ( 30 weeks!)
I can't sit on my sofa when I come home from work anymore as my bum and hips are too sore! It's a case of straight to bed for Netflix & binge eating BlushGrin

Not piles? They're really common in pregnancy and a right pain in the arse!

Sounds like sciatica here too! I have it as well. I didn't have during first pregnancy, but suffered with it after the birth, but sadly have it again 24 weeks in to second pregnancy! Try to go for a gentle walk whenever you can, typically it gets worse the more inactive you are. I saw an osteopath about it last time, and she said it is typically when your stomach muscles arent supporting your spine correctly that you get an over-curvature, leading to the nerves becoming compressed. Pregnancy has a lot to answer for!

SPD/PGP can also cause pain in the botton/pelvis x

"you are not more prone to sciatica if you are pregnant. During pregnancy, you may feel aches and pains in your pelvis and back, but these are unlikely to be related to the sciatic nerve. They are more likely to be caused by pelvic girdle pain (PGP), which is much more common and has some of the same symptoms as sciatica."

Def get it checked

Another similar here. I also got it earlier on around the time of you OP, now 38 weeks and complete agony, sprung from nowhere again and its so bloody full on today I can barely walk, but had to go shopping etc, was literally leaning on the trolley for support, full on limping, going at snails pace...lots of scared looks from shoppers who probably thought i was in labour! Serious agony though, never been this bad, my whole right leg and arse seize up minute i stand/step.
