Hi mummies

I'm 19 weeks pregnant and had quickening from about 14 weeks....I don't have a massive bump but I am forming a bit down the bottom. Last night I felt a massive pulse like feeling, it was long and slow almost like a frog had leaped inside my tummy it wasn't in time with my heartbeat so i know it's not that it happened about three times and I've had it again today...could this be my little lady kicking??

Yeah could be. It's either baby or wind!

I thought quickening was feeling them move?! I'm 18 weeks and I have a feeling like bubbles quite low down which I do think is baby not wind.. Not sure though! Has been over the last week or so mostly.

MyKingdomForBrie

Yeah quickening is the first ever movements but now I'm sure I'm feeling proper kicks now

Could be hiccups? But yes, it's movement of some kind. I still get this sensation and I'm 31 weeks.

I could feel kicks ar 19 weeks! A frog jumping is a great way to describe it! Such a lovely feeling! (Although not so lovely now he has had me awake since 5am)

Its like butterflies. Feels strange. Whatever you dont dont follow the advice here and do the torch test. Dh still hasnt felt the kicks so following mn advice i put a torch to my tummy as baby is meant to kick the light. We learnt to leave sleeping babies asleep. Kick festival all night!!! 😅

Thank you ladies I've still been having this weird feeling and been getting the little butterflies too so I'm not too worried cause baby is still small so not counting their movements or anything cause some women don't even feel anything till 22 weeks

Amy (25 weeks here) mine will go kicking like mad for a bit then quiet. The day i did the touch test not felt her all day but boy did that night. I read babies sometimes have off days and kick less. The count the kicks comes later in pregnancy. Someone knowledgable...when does that start? Love the feeling of the butterflies. Its nice isnt it amy?

Yeah the butterflies are a nice feeling I just get myself worried too much need to learn to stay calm lol. My mum said the same sometimes at this stage they can burrow themselves away deep in the womb to get cosy and other they'll be near to your tummy and you'll feel them move
