Not sure where to start but pregnant with DC2 (not planned at all as had a coil) Iv had nausea from around 8wks until 15ish and somewhere between being a mum to our 2.5yr old DD, work, worrying about finances and how we can afford an extension to fit in new child in me and my OH have drifted apart. We have only had sex once in the 18wks Iv been pregnant as I'm just not interested. At the minute I just feel like we're living side by side not as husband and wife. We are snapping at each other and Im worried this will break us apart. Any advice most welcome

Jen, I don't think a loss of interest in sex is too bad. I'm 19 weeks and we've DTD twice in 15 weeks, also because I am not interested. Pregnancy can reduce your sex drive. Don't let that part stress you out too much.

I don't have any real advice, just wanted to say I don't think the lack of sex is too unusual. I'm 31 weeks with DC 2, also unexpected (although we're very excited now) and wev only had sex once since finding out. We're lucky not to have drifted apart, but we do put effort into it to make sure we don't. I don't mean to imply your not doing, just mean I understand how life can get in the way, be kind to yourselves, the pregnancy will be over soon enough and you'll be moving on to another new stage that could bring you back together again. So sorry I don't have any advice but just try not to be too hard on yourself Flowers

I haven't felt as interested, either. I do feel more so when I've had plenty of rest, though, so perhaps that's the key. If you can get a couple of nights good sleep and rest, even go to a hotel together for a couple of nights if it is at all feasible, then you can hopefully destress and reconnect together.
