My sister is pregnant and I'm really excited.

Was thinking about buying her the tommee tippee stream food blender.

It's quite expensive, so only want to get it if useful.

I wouldn't get it now, she won't even use it until the baby is 6 months old and she may be planning to do BLW. I'd get something she can use for a newborn, a nice Moses basket or something but I'd check with her first.

If she's not planning on breastfeeding the best gift ever is a Tommee Tippee perfect prep machine! We got given one when I stopped breastfeeding and it was a lifesaver.

The other machine? Meh. I'm weaning now and it's not something I feel a need for.

A really useful present I received was from my MIL - a plastic box filled with vests and babygros for the older ages, she'll receive lots of newborn clothes. It meant that every time my baby was about to grow out of clothes, I checked that box and found I had to buy much less than expected!
A nice swaddle blanket or playmat is always good.
The blender you've thought of is a nice idea but as someone said above possibly surplus to requirements. I'm weaning my second and have just used our regular blender when I need to, but mainly just give baby some of what we're having.

It's been a long time since I have had a baby. My youngest is almost 7.

Will look into the prep machine as I know she plans to bottle feed.

And I second that perfect prep machine if she isn't going to breastfeed. If she is going to breastfeed, Lansinoh cream!
Grobags are nice - I use one that my best friend gifted me for my first baby and it always makes me think of her!

If she's bottle feeding, I second Perfect Prep.

Perfect prep is probably one of the best things we were ever bought! (Not used it yet) but my sister and a friend both have these and swear by them! Best thing is there's a lot of baby and toddler events on at the mo so they are a lot cheaper!!
