Hi, I feel very lucky, I'm pregnant after my first round of IVF..at week 6 I had a light bleed that lasted 3 days...I rested in bed for two days and
Immediately felt better..I have an ultra scan tomorrow, the nurses said I should hopefully be able to hear the heart beet. Have twinges every so often...would love to hear from anyone else....share experiences and feelings...

Congrats Wispin! I also fell pregnant after 1sr round of IVF. Currently 10+4. I've had spotting on and off since week 8. Every scan I've had so far shows baby is fine but still you can't help but worry!

Hello marking a place here. I am 6 weeks in after my second FET on my second IVF/ICSI. I had a mc after my first cycle so uber cautious!

Today I almost fainted on the train which was a great start to the day especially after getting off and then running late. It was so hot and crowded and I forgot to bring any water. Most embarrassing was being with someone who I know a bit who then, kindly, acted as my knight in shining armour.

Congratulations to all of us and I really hope for fantastic, positive week by week catch ups Grin

Jem" my ignorance what is 10+4?

Hi,

I am 5 weeks conceived after our first ivf cycle, which I still can't really believe!

Would be great to speak to others who have been through the same thing, the normal pregnancy board feels weird

Is anyone announcing over Christmas?

Bleats - 10 weeks plus 4 days :-)

YoureMyWifeNowDave - hope your scan went ok?

Zoe1980 - hope your scan was ok too? I think twinges and cramping is fine, my midwife told me it was my uterus expanding?!

Fuzzywuzzywasabear - congrats! We're thinking of telling close family at Christmas I'll be exactly 12 weeks then

11+4

Jem - umm yes, that was a wee bit dumb of me...

Fuzzy - we are telling our folks as it would make their day, but no one else as it still feels early. We have a slight worry in that we are hosting friends on NYE who I know are in their final transfer from their third IVF round. Really hoping they have got over the line as well and I am a bit unsure how to approach it. I have texted sending my best, but we are just going to have to play it by ear until closer to the date.

I had the 7 week scan on Monday. Truly the most wonderful image in the world seeing that little heartbeat. We had built ourselves up to thinking things would be inconclusive (basically trying to inoculate ourselves) but it was good and strong. Still can't stop looking at mc stats but wow, it s/he really does exist.

Merry Christmas all. Best presents ever.

7 + 2

YoureMyWifeNowDave - I've got a scan on 4th Jan too it'll be my 12 week scan even though I'll be 13 weeks.

Bleats - no worries at all! It's taken me a while to get to my head around the pregnancy lingo and I'm still learning new stuff all the time!glad to hear your scan went well. Hope your NYE party goes ok too. Fingers crossed for your friends.

Merry Christmas to you all!
