Day 2 of mat leave and 38 wks. Had a far better nights sleep - thank god!!

Managed to check loads off my to-do list yesterday though :)

Going try a light bit of diy today!

How's everyone in the same boat doing? :)

Week 36 here, 2 kids to get off to school and working for another 3 weeks! I will mostly be dog walking, packing for and shipping Christmas presents and doing the school run and after school activities! I envy your maternity leave!

Hello Rigby!

Also slept better last night (and I was shattered yesterday evening and soooo uncomfortable! So uncomfortable in fact I wasn't sure it wasn't early labour). Feel better for a bit of rest and have a day of possible Ikea trip (for xmas tree) or a bit of mince pie baking, or a bit of tidying and then meeting a friend in the avro.

We'll all get better at this mat leave thing - we just need a bit of practice!

Hey lemon and rigby! Slept well until 4am this morning and was woken by awful period pains and an achey pelvis. Started to get excited that it might be time... Woke up this morning and it's all died down.

Midwife this afternoon though followed by gingerbread making and first Xmas film of the year!

Sherbert I hear you - that's been me for the last few days too. Hopefully the period pain and pelvis ache is not just general third trimester rubbishness from carrying all that extra weight and its a bit more focused and means that the body is gearing up!

Day 3 in the big momma house and I've gone from being super content yesterday to bored and a bit irritable today. Decided I've had enough relaxing, just had pineapple for breakfast, going for a walk now and then on to the birthball in the avro.
How u ladies doing?

Ah lemon, I know how you feel! I don't know about you, but I'm one of those people that if I have lots to put off doing and can procrastinate for Britain. As soon as I really don't have anything to do, I'm bored within 5 minutes! Lol!

Going out for lunch with my mum today so hopefully that'll keep me going today. Have you got any Christmassy prep you could be doing?

Hey Lemon101!

But too bad here thanks. I kept busy yesterday but stopped for a cuppa between tasks on my list. Was so tired last night, I only woke the once :)

Try and plan little things in your diary every day - helps time pass.

Just back from the midwife and baby is apparently 2/5 engaged now! Must be good ;)

Going to lunch with a friend shortly.

Hello ladies who lunch! Hope you both had lovely afternoons (and a good feed!).

Sherbert - that is exactly me!

Sadly I seem to have done a lot of the xmas prep already (have bought all pressies, they are wrapped and decorations up!). I am going to get onto some serious mince pie baking in the next few days though Grin.

Rigby - glad you slept better last night and congratulations on the 2/5 engaged! Whoop! I am also 2/5 engaged and it felt like a major milestone when I was told!

I did go for my walk this morning and was exhausted when I came back (and very uncomfortable thanks to the whole 2/5 engaged thing!). Was so tired I actually cried a little when I came in! Had lunch and an hours nap and felt the better for it. Think I may have been a wee bit hormonal this morning! Blush

Anyway, hoping you ladies have nice evenings and undisturbed sleeps tonight (well except for the usual unavoidable wee breaks!).
