that's it really, just utterly, utterly fed up of it on top of everything else.

And really not looking fwd to another however-many-months/years of not having my body to myself cos i'm breastfeeding.

all I ever do is work constantly and it's utterly doing my head in, I hope so much that the baby is ok and doesn't cry tooooo much cos i'm already at breaking point although frankly, if I did break and snap at some people, it might be a good thing for their self-development if it makes them realise what fucking xxxxs they are

sorry to rant but it's this or a murderous rampage and i'm too pregnant to run from the police

I burp for about 4 hours after eating, sometimes it's not even connected to eating. If I lie down the burps become heartburn. Totally feel your pain, trian. Its a total b*tch. Baby is trying to break through the walls of my bump this morning - violently!

I sympathise! When I burp it usually brings up a wee bit of sicky acid. Yum.

Chin up! Chocolate

thanks ladies, the joy of pregnancy! I'm sure there's a way to avoid it by eating the right things etc, but to realistically do that i'd have to be living in some kind of pregnancy retreat where other people do the cooking etc.

I just hope it goes after the birth, my mate still has it 20 years after her son was born and I think hers started in pregnancy :-(

I've got massive heartburn issues (pre-pregnancy hiatus hernia), and have read that you shouldn't drink anything 15-30 mins before or after eating a large meal. I'm trying it with small success so far. Also, are you on any medication for the heartburn?

I will try that darthvader I'd not heard of it. Just had dinner and the hours of burping have begun...

OP I haven't found any particular foods that make a difference but please post if you do Xx
