Majorly Sore Boobs!!!

Of all the things I thought would bother me, this would be very far down my list. Putting the nausea, the constipation, the bubbling at the end of Pitch Perfect to one side.... my boobs are effing killing me!

Now, they have been tender, yes and I have looked like an utter idiot past few weeks squeezing them and sorting them out when they bother me but nothing like what has developed. I'm already rather gifted in the chest department, measuring in at 32J and can't say I've noticed a change in cup size just yet but I can feel they're bigger and they just feel like they're going to explode. They are aching all. the. time!

8 weeks today. I had a pregnancy end of last year into beginning of this one which sadly ended in mmc and I don't remember anything like this however, a lot of my symptoms have been different.

Any advice on how to stop my girls hurting quite so much?!

Me too. I've gone up two cup sizes and the new bra I got three weeks ago is starting to get tight Sad

They hurt most in a morning after being squished during sleeping. Also during exercise, it's agony but I can't find a decent sports bra. tiny violin

Wearing a bra at night can be a life-saver... I'm doing this now and it's helping a bit ... but different for everyone I'm sure

I went from a 36D to a 36E by start of week 5, and they are still growing a bit each day Hmm now 6+3 pain I think is easing off at times with my many boob related products

I brought a maternity bra quick smart, this really helped, then mama Mio nipple cream (as they were like hot bullets even with a soft bra I felt like they were going to explode) that twice a day has been a god send, the progressed to sleep bra from mothercare (another god send!!) and now sleep with a V pillow as even moving in the night would send shooting pains into my boob at times, keeps me laying on my left hand side (which is recomended for breathing and my boobs have been stopping that at times as they feel right) last night with all the above I woke up only once due to boob pain :) still five times to pee but not boob pain!! Grin

I also called a man a wa**er who hit one of my boobs on a tube after I asked him not to push the nice pregnant lady... That was very therapeutic out of character Smile but very therapeutic

Tight not right :)

Nipple cream is £12
Mothercare sleep bra (much softer than a day bra but supportive) which I also sometimes wear during the day at home was about £18 for two

amysmummy12345 Ouch!

I'm sleeping in maternity bras from last time and trying to resist buying new ones until at least Christmas because I'm not due until May. I went from a 32d to a 34hh last time and bought three lots of bras. I'm already at a 32g... Confused

OMG - this is my first pregnancy and was hoping these things would soon stop growing soon - mostly because I'm scared of suffocating if I lie down wrong! If my scale is the same as yours Bixxy I've a long way to go :( I admire you for attempting exercise I attempted to run for a train the other day and could have collapsed in agony!

And I'm trying not to think about breastfeeding in this state... You poor lady x
