38+1 today - on the final countdown now!

I haven't enjoyed very much about being knocked up, but I am really, really going to miss my lovely, thick, glossy pregnancy hair.

That is all Grin

So true! Thanks for that, I'd forgotten all about it. It even grew faster, as I recall, now. They need to bottle whatever it is. Gosh, what else do we forget about pregnancy, I wonder? But ... on the other hand, how come I can't forget those hideous elephant ankles?

I looked like an ewok by the end... :/

When does it start to fall out normally? I'll miss the lush head hair but it'd be nice to not look like I'm wearing furry cycling shorts ...

Don't worry you should have it a few more months. Mine started to go when DS was about four/five months.

I thought the thread was going to be about excess hair. I haven't noticed my hair on my head any better (but I do bleach it)
I have hair on my (gorilla) belly which I didn't expect and my other unwanted hair grows quicker :(

Mine stayed until DS was 3 months. Then it fell out solidly and copiously for a three month period. I had a receding hairline and everything. Then weird, horrible, frizzy weak hair began to replace it.

The when DS about 9 months I got pregnant again. I'm now 28 weeks. My hair doesn't know what to be doing with itself- I have some lovely think glossy bits and some shit short frizzy bits. I am dreading the mess that awaits me when this baby is 3 months!

I'm very jealous, I was longing for this to happen to me but at 30 weeks my hairline has gone very fine and I look like I'm receding :-( bad times. Having a blood test this week to check my thyroid is okay because if I still go on to lose hair after baby's born, I'll be bald as a coot!

I don't miss the post-birth balding temples!!
