Okay so my original dye date was 7th November but at my 12 weeks scan they put me back to 30th November which makes me 35 weeks. I am having regulate scans as I have GD and quite a few complications with my health (baby is healthy though)
Had a scan yesterday by the lead midwife who has been performing all my scans since 30 weeks. And although baby is measuring 35 weeks she said my uterus is right up under my ribs already which she said normally happens around 36/7 weeks. And she commented that by my original dates I would have been 38+3. And said wouldn't it be funny if your original date was correct and you go into labour soon. I didn't really take much notice to her comment as assumed it was normal for uterus to be up under ribs earlier.
Came home and read her report and she has stated on the reply the gestational age by us is 35+1 but gestational age by dates is 38+3 and has wrote down the two due dates I had 7th and 30th. She has also wrote that my uterus is up under ribs and baby is head down and has stated aswell that my tummy measures 40cm which she said is big for 35 weeks (although I know this isn't very accurate). I'm assuming she is concerned about my original due date being correct as she never wrote any of this in my previous reports. Now I'm at home I'm thinking was she hinting at me to ask was my original due date correct. She turned the scan to 3d to show me baby's face etc and I'm wondering is there a possibility I could go into labour as original date was correct. I'm due to be induced at 37 weeks anyway so 2 more weeks either way won't make a diffference.
I should have asked yesterday but I'm only realising now that she was hinting at something.
I know this boost is confusing but just wondering do I prepare myself to go into labour anytime now or just go by 35 weeks and wait to be induced ?
