Is it a normal thing? I'm 8+ weeks and keep getting them.

I think I'll have to join a due date thread as I've got loads of other questions, but I had a mmc in April /may and it feels like tempting fate.

Yes. I found that my blood pressure was lower in pregnancy (80/50) and this can cause a few problems with regulating temperature, plus you have extra blood volume, you are slightly warmer anyway due to incubating a baby and your body is just very busy indeed. You might also find that you feel a bit faint with it sometimes, dizzy perhaps? Have you had your booking in appointment because sometimes being a bit anaemic can exacerbate the problem.

I found at this time of year it was particularly pronounced because shops seemed to have put on their heating, outside it kept changing rapidly from cold and wet to suddenly warm and sunny, I had the wrong number of layers on and I'd try to nip to Boots and within seconds, I'd feel like I was suffocating.

And CONGRATULATIONS. I should have said that first. All the best for a healthy pregnancy.

Ask as many questions here as you like. I know that feeling of not wanting to tempt fate.

Congratulations!
I had terrible hot flushes in my first trimester when I was pregnant. It was around February time and I had to have the bedroom windows open, poor DH was freezing.
