Already spoke to gp over phone and she says sounds like miscarriage and let nature take it course. She also said no point in going to epu as its too early to see anything.

Anyway had a very active and stressful wkend. Got home on sunday. Monday morning felt a gush, went to toilet and it was blood. For rest of monday got gushes of blood everytime i went for a wee. Spotting on pad between times. Some clots. No pain. Alot lighter yesterday. No more gushing. And completely gone today....i know you cant tell me whats happenin but just needed to talk. Im so confused. I thought the bleeding would have lasted longer with cramps and been heavier. Was 5+1 on mon when bleeding started.

I'm so sorry this is happening. I had lots and lots of bleeding with my son, he was fine. No pain is a good sign. Have you done a HPT since the bleeding has stopped? I'm so fed up of GPS not referring to EPU. I'd call GP tomorrow on a bit of rant and say you have no idea whether or not you're pregnant and get a referral. Good luck xx

I'm so sorry your going through this I've had 4 miscarriages previously and its heartbreaking. My first miscarriage I bled for only one day and was only when I went for a wee as well but I had a lot of pain. Myothers were massive bleeds over 4/5 days. Phone gp or go to a&e and they will referred you to epu xx

GP is right in that there won't be a lot to see on a scan at this stage however they can rake bloods 48 hours apart to check whether your levels of hcg hormone are doubling as they should be. A drop in between blood tests or levels that are going up very slowly would indicate a miscarriage.
Sorry you're going through this Flowers

I am sorry you're going through this - I recently miscarried and know how emotionally painful, confusing and frightening it is.

Have you tried calling the Early Pregnancy Unit at your local hospital for advise?

Thanks everyone for your replies. Its just horrible not knowing. Our epu is only open mon to weds mornings accoring to the hosps web page. Hubbys gonna go get a hpt but itll prob not make me any the wiser. I still feel pregnant but then itll prob take a while for hcg to leave my system. Ugh hate this. So sorry for all your losses too Flowers

OP I had the exact same situation with my first DC. Big gush of blood, no pain but a complete loss of symptoms. Sickness and sore boobs disappeared overnight.

My DC is now 6 abs fast asleep!! I never got to the bottom of why I'd bled but it's terribly common. I have my fingers firmly crossed for you.

I'm really sorry you're going through this op

I had a similar experience, bleeding and clots over a short period of a day or so with no pain, for us unfortunately it wasn't good news.

But - really there's no way of knowing unless you wait it out or check your levels. Plenty of people have bleeding and the pregnancy progresses fine. Keeping everything crossed for you x
