Is anyone else in pain with a bad back? Mine is hurting day and night! What are other people doing to make it better?

I was suffering with a bad back whenever I put weight on my right leg (31 weeks btw) so struggled to walk and it really got me down. Told my doc and she said it should get better and to go back if it doesn't. And touch wood, it feels like it is getting better. The only things I've done are to change where I sit so I have better posture (sofa slopes backwards) and also move as much as the pain allows. She recommended paracetamol and hot water bottle wrapped in towel but I haven't tried either. I'd go to the doc if you're concerned, as some people get referred to physio.

Go and see a Physio (private if you can afford it, and ideally one that specialises in women's health).
Pilates is good too - a pregnancy class

Sitting on a swiss ball and doing some cat stretches (on all fours arching your back slowly) might help
