Having a rubbish...let's moan together

What a rubbish day, I woke up with a horrible chesty cough stuffy nose and so lathargic. I then get on the wrong bus to work and now at work I haven't sat down. I just need a good rant, so anyone else who wants to rant I'm all ears :)

Yes please! I've got cankles, sausage fingers, back ache and a very snotty runny nose! Add that to the fact that DH has been away with work since April, due back this month and I STILL don't have a definite date for him to come home and I'm one grumpy lady.

Might just crawl under a rock until it's all over... Oh wait, I wouldn't fit Wink

another snotbag here. not sure if I've chosen being pregnant to develop hayfever or if it's pregnancy rhinitis, but I'm not thrilled with the stuffy nose either way. I feel really vulnerable that I can't smell - I don't know if I stink, or if I am leaking amniotic fluid or anything or burning the dinner - gah. also I am only 6 months, but due to having no self-control and a BMI of 32 at the start, I now find that I grunt like an old woman if I have to get up/bend down. and the carpal tunnel in my hands is annoying as hell.

add this to constant panicking that she doesn't move enough or strongly enough for 27 weeks, or there might be something wrong (despite perfect scans at 12 and 20 weeks, it's my brain that's wrong!) and I am not loving being pregnant right now, despite the fact that I am absolutely thrilled and can't wait for her to be here.

I should add that I am pretty sure I don't stink. I have never stunk before. in fact, a jo Malone addiction usually makes me pretty fragrant. but who knows, hormones have changed everything else...

It sucks. To top it off I'm craving chocolate cake and I'm stuck at work till half 12 when I can go on dinner. It's not fair why can't I get chocolate cake

8+2 and fed up already. Having to forced feed myself constantly to keep sickness away. OH is abroad on business until end of July. House is a mess. Even the cat is fed up.

Totally unexcited about this whole baby thing, any first flutterings of enthusiasm about becoming a mother have been completely squashed and now I'm wondering WTF HAVE I DONE. Sigh.

I was the same I thought 'yay I'm pregnant it's going to be great' I'm already fed up of being tired and it's only 5months till maternity leave (I'm not counting at all). I can't help but sleep, the doctor said oh you'll feel tired...pft there's tired then there's this.

Rubbish day here too.
I have a massive ME flare up and I am in agony. I hardly slept last night because of the pain and I am now at work, knackered and sore, with my arms and legs refusing to cooperate...

Hugs to everyone who needs them.

Hugs back. I'm sorry your day isn't going to plan, I would recommend when you finish a night of rubbish tv and stuffing your face with comfort food. That's my plan anyway xD

It's the bloody hormones for me. Making me feel sick and tearful and useless. Got a family holiday with the in-laws coming up and not looking forward to having to go to the effort of making conversation or frankly doing anything I don't want to. Sulk.

I'm in a similar situation with the holiday side of it. Unfortunately my OH grandfather is really ill and his daughter my MIL has got a holiday booked for when he's given him to live. So story short if her dad isn't really ill she'll go on holiday if he is then my and the OH are going.

It's frustrating cause I need to know if I need to buy new summer clothes cause the ones I got don't fit me thanks to this little one

Now manager has annoyed me by telling me to clean up the front and put all the order away. I'm like the shop was dead when I was on dinner why couldn't you do it instead of playing football manager.

7+6, exhausted, on the edge of tears, often for no real reason, and more than a little queasy. Was up in the night cleaning up after new not-yet-housetrained puppy who is very sweet, but has a messed up tummy right now being in his 4th home and only just 11 weeks old.

Am stuck at work until six and just want to go home and sleep. Want to pop to the shop to get some melon or some other refreshing type fruit thing, but not sure I will tolerate shop-going once work's up, or whether I'll just want to go straight home.

I was like that the other day. I work 9 hours and really wanted pickled onions but I couldn't be bothered to go to the shop after work to get some.

Just can't win!

I've begrudgingly spent 70p on vending machine orange tango, reasoning that it's cold and vaguely refreshing and was closer than the cold water dispenser.

A crap day all round then for everyone. A cupboard door in my kitchen has just snapped on one of the hinges so I've had to take it off completely to avoid it snapping. Cue grunting and swearing as I wedged my 36 weeks pregnant self into a corner cupboard with a screwdriver. Oh the joys!

Oh no you ok? I would have just left it haha but I'm lazy

I'm having cupboard trouble today too. For some unknown reason the lid from a tin of black treacle has come loose and the tin has knocked over so it's dripped all down the back of the cupboard and puddled onto the two lower shelves coating most of the cupboard contents in the process

It's like tar, it bloody stinks and the shelves don't come out! I think I've managed to get it all out of the cupboard but I now have spices, sauces and packets etc to clean. I'm so tempted to just bin the worst of them.

Hugs all round :)

My manager just saw how bad my nose bleed was and my partner offered to pick me up and he went 5 is too early to finish. The store is dead and I've done everything -.-

tiny unfortunately I couldn't leave it as the top hinge had completely gone so if I left it hanging it would have ripped the bottom one out too :( I used lots of lovely swear words at it which made me feel much better though ;)

sarky definitely just bin the worst treacly packets, you've cleaned the cupboard so I would say that's more than enough for one day!
