Totally confused! By 5pm I'm being really sick and have to lie down in bed until I'm asleep. I'm 10 weeks. Does evening sickness mean it boy or girl??

I don't think it means anything but I had evening sickness and had a girl.

Mostly evening sickness (well, all day nausea and late afternoon onwards vomiting) and had DD

WhenMarnieWasThere Sat 27-Jun-15 20:35:14

I had 'all day whenever' sickness both times.

I had girls.

Another one here with all day sickness that was usually worst in the afternoon/evening, and currently expecting DD2.

I always had evening sickness, four boys and one girl.

Yes it most likely will be a boy or a girl.

It's going to be a boy .. Or a girl. Sorry. Not much help.

DS was an all day nausea type, dd was more of a morning only retching. Oh the joy.

Mine has always been worse in the evenings in all pregnancies. 2 boys and this ones a girl.

LoveLetters Sat 27-Jun-15 21:29:56

Respottydress really? My doctor is suspicious I'm having twins.

vez123 Sat 27-Jun-15 21:32:10

When I had my DD I had late afternoon and evening sickness. I cannot really remember at what times I felt sick when I had DS.

WorldsBiggestGrotbag Sat 27-Jun-15 21:35:34

Morning sickness with DD1. Evening sickness with this one which we have been told is DD2.

Coincidence it may be but I had terrible sickness in the evening and I'm having s girl and still at 18 weeks I occasionally feel sick still

WorldsBiggestGrotbag Sun 28-Jun-15 07:38:59

I'm still throwing up at 39 weeks this time (DD2). Stopped at 13 weeks with DD1!

Love if you doctor suspects twins why haven't you been sent for an early scan?

You need extra (prescription strength) levels of folic acid for twins so I'm a bit surprised they haven't sent you to have it confirmed.

BurntToast89 Sun 28-Jun-15 08:29:26

I always had evening sickness at the start and im having a boy.

When and how you're sick is nothing to do with the sex of the baby.

Why is your doctor suspicious it's twins?

icklekid Sun 28-Jun-15 08:39:46

Evening sickness for 9 months - ds! There is no corrullation sorry!

BalloonSlayer Sun 28-Jun-15 08:39:47

With all my DCs I was absolutely fine first thing in the morning, started to feel sick around lunchtime and it was at its worst in the evening.

I had: boy, girl. boy.
