numb thigh

My right thigh has gone numb. Occasionally I get hot or cold sensations there as well.

It comes and goes but is worse when I'm standing up.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, am 39 weeks with baby 3. Assume is baby being heavy and pressing on vein so like pins and needles. Don't remember getting it so much with other two. I think is nothing to worry about if it goes away when you change position and if you are quite late in pregnancy so heavy.

I have had this most of my preg, it's a 'thing' and nothing to worry about. I told my MW about it and she wasn't worried about it. It is only a worry if you have numbness in your calf as that can be a sign of DVT I think

Thanks! I've had this since around 22 weeks. I'm 26 weeks now. Bump suddenly feels very heavy the last few days, which I can cope with, it's just new. Being my first baby, everything's new and I worry all the time. I just hope I can chill out a bit once it's born (but I expect not!).

Yes, had this since 16 weeks (35 now). Doctor said it was a form of sciatica. It generally goes away as soon as i sit down. Really annoying, hoping it's just a pregnancy thing and will go once little one arrives!
