Hi, I'm 32 weeks pregnant and I seem to have some kind of fungal infection on my toes. I've had it for months now, but as it isn't sore or itchy I didn't get round to having it checked out. I went to my GP the other day who thought it might be a mild case of athletes and prescribed Daktarin 2% cream. I haven't got it yet but from what I've read online, it should only be used in pregnancy if the benefits outweigh the risk. I wasn't sure whether to go ahead and use the cream, or just leave it for now and use the cream after the baby's born. Does anyone know if it's ok to use in pregnancy? I'm no longer with my partner, the baby's father, but I spoke to him this evening and he told me he was worried that me having a fungal infection could harm the baby. I'm sure this can't be the case, but I would ideally like to get rid of it.
Thank you, Sarah
