I have been pregnant for what feels like forever with my v unexpected but increasingly welcome 3rd. In reality I am just 5+3 weeks! However I am already having such strong symptoms. I never remember this happening so soon before. Waves of nausea all day, cramps, exhaustion and what feel like v strong stretching pains at times. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be concerned? I had v strong positive tests (5!!) 4 days before period due.

Hello! I'm pregnant with my first and didn't know I was pregnant until I was 6/7 weeks gone. I actually went to my GP with all the symptoms you're describing because I was pretty sure I was dying. GP was about to send me to a gastroenterologist, but then decided to do a pregnany test. I had a positive pregnancy test but the cramps/stretching pains were so bad that I was sent for an early scan as they thought that the pregnancy could be ectopic. Turns out that it is a perfectly normal pregnancy and no-one has been able to explain the cramps/stretching pains. They got gradually less bad and have more or less gone away now I'm at 11 weeks. Perhaps my doctor would have been less worried about an ectopic pregnancy if I'd had other babies. But if the pain is bad, maybe think about asking for an early scan?

I had really bad stretching pains very early on with pregnancy 4, ms, exhaustion and everything else you can think of. I thought after 3 pregnancies my body had stretched enough previously for it not to hurt. I'm sure everything will be fine, if you're really worried see if you can get an early scan. Oh and my 4th was 4&5!!! Good luck

I'be been having this with my second- pretty much constant Confused It gets so uncomfortable that I'm doubled over! I'm 12+5 now and wish it would go away; for the record I'm already quite big so it must be growing pains lol x
