faint positive

I'm driving myself a little crazy this week!
On Friday, which was the first day after missed period I took a test, it showed a faint line. To say I was surprised was an understatement as we weren't actually ttc but I'm made up. I've known something was different for over a week so makes sense, but my line isn't getting any darker when I retested today, is that usual? Im now 4 days late for my AF and apart from a light crampy stomach have no signs of anything - period or pregnancy

I've convinced myself I'm going to mc, the wait is horrible

Cramping is normal right at the beginning.
I remember the feeling that baby would just drop out and wanted to cross my legs the whole time to keep her in Smile

You can get pregnancy tests that tell you how many weeks you are (clear blue) if you want to make sure.

Congratulations Flowers

Thank you ninetynineonehundred. I have a 2 year old but don't remember feeling so crampy, I've done a clear blue this morning it said 1-2 weeks so I'm hoping that explains such faint lines But I honestly expected that they would quite quickly darken

It's only a few days since the first test. My cramps were worse second time round too.
There are no guarantees at this stage as you know. Will keep my fingers for you. Please let me know how things go.

Congratulations!

I cramped before I realised I was pregnant and these have continued right up to now, I'm 19 weeks tomorrow.

The cramping really worried me but apparently it's really common so try not to worry

Congratulations! It can take a while for the lines to get darker, so try not to worry. You are testing very early.

Thank you all. I used a first response and the line came very quickly so I'm feeling a little better, going to used a digital one on Friday to put my mind at rest and then I'm not testing again (I think!) Thank you amanda200290 fingers crossed for us both Smile
