Early pregnancy/When did you get positive result?

Hi! so i was wondering if anyone would be able to offer me some insight as to what your early pregnancy symptoms were and when you tested positive.
I've been having what I think is pregnancy symptoms the past two weeks, massively bloated, tired, feeling a bit nauseous, boobs feel huge but don't hurt, and slight cramping. AF is technically due tomorrow, myself and partner had unprotected sex a fair few times the past month so it's definitely a possibility but I've been having irregular cycles the past four months ranging from 28-38 days so it's hard to tell! So does anyone have any advice/experience similar symptoms in their early pregnancy, and when did you get a positive result? Due to irregular cycles im not sure when to test :/ so if anyone had the same kind of problem and could offer any advice that would be great!

I think you can get a positive result with sensitive tests from about 10 days post ovulation so if you have had symptoms for 14 days and are due tomorrow then I would buy a test and do it tomorrow morning.

I got a vvv faint BFP at 12dpo with a FRER. Is recommend getting a FRER as they are one of the most sensitive tests. For me sore boobs and cramps (more sharp than AF cramps) are the first signs!

I also got a vvvvvvv faint BFP at 12dpo, I had to hold a light behind it to see it! So I know it wouldn't have shown up any earlier. I was feeling bloated and dehydrated, it felt like a mild hangover.

With each pregnancy I had different symptoms, but they've all started the same: i started cramping a week before I was due on.
And you know how a few days before you're due on it gets drier down there and there's no discharge, well with my first two pregnancies I had lots of discharge and with my second a serious v thrush.

Not sure what all this means, but now on my third try I've had no discharge at all.

Boobs being sore is another symptom I had each time, although the level of soreness has varied somewhat.

I've always waited about 5 days after af was due to test just to make sure. Plus those cramps are so deceiving I really felt like it will come on at any moment.

Thanks everyone!! I think if no AF tomorrow i'm going to wait a few days then try, I don't want to get my hopes up too much and get a negative! Skinnylegs33 yeah I've had the same, lots of discharge which I don't normally get before AF, that along with the other symptoms is why I think I could possibly be pregnant. I agree the cramps are confusing me massively, I tend to get cramps a few days before I'm due on and for the first couple of days after, these cramps feel similar but are no where near as frequent, and are more like sharp twinges every now and again. It's all very confusing! Thank you everyone for the advice though!!

Oh alongside what i've already mentioned I've also been really thirsty, and hungry even though food seems to make me feel nauseous! My appetite seems to have two extremes at the moment, I go from wanting to eat everything to absolutely feeling repulsed at the thought of eating anything!! I don't know whether any of this could be related at all did anyone have the same? Again I'm trying not to symptom search too much or obsess over it too much, it would be a lovely surprise if I am pg, but yeah don't want to get too excited over nothing just yet!!

I got a bfp my first time 1 day before it was due with free digital. However, when I tested again later with clearblue digital, I got a negative even though other frer were still saying positive. I was having a chemical pregnancy. This time I went straight to clearblue digital and got bfp the day before it was due again. Made me feel better. Only tell tale sign for me were my sore swollen boobs and bloating which I could of also attributed to AF

I tested positive 10dpo with a frer.

My early signs were tingly boobs, cramps, discharge, very vivid dreams and horrible taste on my mouth.

I don't tend to get symptoms until 6w or so (apart from when I had twins on board, then it was from 4w). If it's HCG causing your symptoms, logic would expect a positive test now even. If your cycles are irregular, is there a chance our last AF was actually weird bleeding rather than AF?? Just to throw another viewpoint at you Wink . Good luck!

It is so hard to tell the difference between the symptoms! No sign of AF so far, though cramping has got slightly worse, no where near as painful as usual monthly cramps though, barely even notice it. Still feeling positive! I'm trying to hold out doing a test to avoid disappointment, got a routine blood test tomorrow so I'm going to make myself wait until the results of that are in, which of course would show up a result if I am PG. It's going to be an anxious/exciting few days!!!

Brummiegirl15, I have definitely been having vivid dreams as well! Very strange ones too that make no sense!

Thanks everyone :)

My cycles are irregular and I never took a test until what would be the day of my missed period with the longest cycle id experienced if you know what I mean? I hated seeing the negative result after 12 months of trying so gave myself the best possible chance of a positive! That means I didn't test until my clear blue said 2-3 weeks pregnant, so no idea how early I would have got a positive!
