Thats it really. I am managing to eat, various random things, every few hours to stave the nausea off somewhat, but then it just comes back. Making dinner for DS makes me feel vom, have to light scented candles to get rid of cooking smell.... and worst of all i have very bad wind and the smell is making me vom [hides head in shame]... just fed up :(

This was me when I was pregnant with DS, though I couldn't manage cooking dinner when that nauseous (well done you!). I was losing weight as well Sad

Get thee to your GP and get some medication - there are a few options that are safe in pregnancy for both you and baby. site www.pregnancysicknesssupport.org.uk/help/women-suffering/hyperemesis-gravidarum/ has info if your GP is reluctant. I was on metolopramide and no exaggeration to say it changed my life! Grin

If I didn't cook him dinner no-one else would as its just the two of us! I am not actually being sick, just nauseas and exhausted. Don't think they would give me meds for nausea - seeing mw next week so will see what she says :(

sympathy coming your way!

That was me until yesterday. No 11+1 and feeling better. The wind was the worst, made me even more nauseous. Catch 22 with eating as it caused stomach ache but if I didn't eat I would feel nauseous.

Hopefully you'll be out of the woods soon and it will be worth it in the end.

You poor thing. I felt like this very recently, from 5 weeks through to 10-11 weeks. I had to eat little and often - like, every 5-10 minutes! - just to get through the day. I'm now 12 weeks and feeling much, much better and far less tired, but the heartburn is still vicious. All I can advise is just focus on getting through each day once day at a time. You will feel better eventually xx

Metolopramide did the job for me as well, I was sick until 23 weeks, including vomiting in the dishwasher because the smell of the dishwashing tablet overwhelmed me. Blush

for myself peppermint did the trick. it works for me when I am hungry and food isnt ready yet or when I am nauseated. I was pretty much eating tick tack all day long and drinking peppermint tea a lot the first few weeks of pregnancy.

for a friend of mine it was ginger and ginger ale that did the trick.

I am 11 weeks and had terrible nausea and actually being sick since about 7 weeks. Really struggling with cooking too. I am finding snacking on pineapple, kiwi fruit, harvest cheweee bars and walkers salt and vinegar crisps are helping. Big meals are a no-go at the moment, little and often helps. Also I can only drink cold water and chai tea!

Hopefully we will be feeling better soon! Especially before Christmas dinner!
