When should it come? I am feeling paranoid now. What are the signs that colostrum/milk production is imminent?

Mine started during labour. DH noticed my vest was turning white in small patched where I was leaking. Milk came in 3 days later.

In your breasts, waiting for your baby. Some people never leak. Some are never able to express. Have faith Smile

Not a drop came from me til my babies latched on.

I never saw any signs at all until after I'd given birth last time.

I didn't get any until baby was born, then successfully EBF until 6 months.

I've never leaked (have 2 DCs and am 34 weeks with my third) but it always seems to be there once the baby is born [smile ].

My baby was born 6 weeks early by CS and even then I had colostrum within hours of the birth and my milk came in on day 3. I had been trying to express colostrum when I knew she would be early but got none. Keep the faith.

Didn't have colostrum or any leaking prior to birth with either of mine and EBF both of them for 6 months and mixed fed until 9 months and 11 months respectively.

You'll be fine - good luck!

Mine appeared a little from 24 wks this time but with DS I don't think I had any sign until he was born. I did read the other day not to worry if you don't have any before your baby is born as it will be there when required Smile

I had the same fear as you as I never had a drop before DS started feeding.

4 months later and I still don't leak between feeds.

I didn't breastfeed but my milk came approximately 2 days after giving birth with both times. I had no signs beforehand ,oh and I was early (37 week) so don't worry will come through Smile

Eminybob now that you say it, I never leaked between feeds with DD1. With DD2 I leaked like a Victorian drain - they're both healthy girls!

Three children. Have been bfing for 5 of the last six years. Never saw a single drop of colostrum until babies arrived. Never fear!

I didn't get any at all before birth, but now have over supply and leak all the time so it doesn't mean anything about supply.

I've been leaking since 20 weeks - VERY annoying :) lol... my friend panicked about this, and pretty much the day of birth it was all there ready. I wouldn't worry if it doesn't happen before hand :)
