39 + 5 signs of pre labour?

I had cramping that would come every 10/20 mins lasting about 30 seconds peak then disappear. I went to bed and when I woke up the cramping was gone but it's slowly coming back again. I have lost bits of my plug over 4 days a couple days ago and now I have a more stringy clear discharge that has been a light pink sometimes. I've also had small gushes of water over a couple days that I'm not sure is pee because it happens when I don't feel like I need to go to the toilet before or after. Is this pre labour?

Call the hospital and explain. It sounds like maybe your hind waters have gone but they should probably check you out.

It definitely sounds like things are thinking about getting going.

I don't want to get everyone's hopes up lol I have so many people freaking out everytime I get a little twinge. I was just going to time the cramps? They are quite regular now same distance apart and same length of time

If your waters have gone then you are at a risk of infection. You will have to go in and if confirmed they will book you in for induction if things don't progress naturally by a certain point.

Pop a maternity pad on, lay down for half an hour and when you stand up, see if there's a gush. If there is, keep the pad so they can confirm if it is your waters.

The cranks went irregular for an hour so I just slept for a few hours and the cramps woke me up throughout the sleep one of them being pretty nasty. Because I was half asleep though I've struggled to keep track but I think they are about 20 minutes apart. I've never heard of maternity pads?? I have pads for after labour for the bleeding is that the same thing? I have gushed a few times when I've been lying down then standing up

Barbsta I was feeling the same on Thursday- time them and when less than 5 min apart call delivery, does sound like your waters have gone though so if contractions stop still call just in case they still want you to go in...
Maternity pads are for bleeding after they are thicker and softer than normal sanitary pads, hope that helps...

What happened with you Ickle? Did they become more frequent and how soon? I know all labours are different but I'm definitely up for comparing because this is my first and I haven't a clue what's going on :s. Still fairly call though and not too panicked just trying not to get my hopes up too much because I know I probably will a few times before she gets here :)

I think she was pushed out too quick to cause stitches lol after 3 days of contractions as soon as she said I could push it only took me about 3 pushes and apparently I breathed her out lol. Her name is Megan :)
