Pregnancy

second pregnancy - no symptoms - worried

I had a BFP yesterday - been trying for number two for a while so am thrilled. However, with DC1 I was already really sick by this point - and I feel fine at the moment. I am 5 + 2. I am worried this means this one might not be heading the right way, maybe the HCG is lower than it was last time around or something? I really don't have any symptoms at all. If anyone has any experience of feeling very different in different pregnancies that would be very reassuring! My mum was really sick throughout all of her pregnancies so I assumed I would be too and am a bit freaked out that I seem to feel fine so far with this one.

I had exactly the same worries but now have a huge bump at 36 weeks!
With my first pregnancy I had morning sickness early on, absolutely nothing with this one. To be honest this pregnancy has been totally different to my first, both boys though.

You've still got time to get sickness yet but fingers crossed you avoid it!

Congratulations!!
I am the other way round to you. With DD I had no symptoms what so ever and did pregnancy tests all the way through to my first scan. Had a very happy healthy pregnancy and baby. This time (Im about 8 weeks) I feel faint, sick, so so SO tired and I could literally spend the whole day eating and not feel full. Try not to freak, all pregnancies are different Smile

Don't wish for it!! Enjoy it whilst it lasts..
I was worried with this pregnancy that I hadn't got symptoms straight away. Remember saying to dh that I wish I could just feel sick so I knew all was ok. Then BANG, hyperemesis set in at six weeks!!! Totally unexpected, didn't have it with the first!!!
Like I say, enjoy it whilst it lasts!! Grin

Had zero symptoms while pg with DC2 except a bump. No sickness, no sore boobs, no food aversions. She's now four days old and asleep on my chest. Don't worry!

I'm expecting DC3. I had no symptoms at BFP (other than a missed period) or until about 6 weeks. Then I had mild on-off nausea for about a week, and was a little tired (no sore boobs - these have never really kicked in). Then at 7 weeks the vomiting and intense nausea started, and I now have full on HG (which I also had last time, but from 5 weeks). I wouldn't worry yet about no symptoms (although I did!).

Congrats on the bfp! I got mine today too and think I'm 6+3.

I seem to be having a massively different time right now, too. No sore boobs, no sickness - just massively exhausted and slightly nauseous.

It seems a bit ridiculous that I'm almost craving the pain, as some sort of reassurance...but there you are.

All the best!

When I got the BFP with dc2 I didn't had any symptoms till week 6/7 which lasted till week 8/9 (extreme headache, tired, dizziness, vision problem, nausea's, extremely hungry) and since week 9 I have no symptoms. I'm tired but I blame that on my active 8 month old son.. Once in a while I have extreme headache but once again blaming DS as he keeps me very very busy and plus the hot weather..

I'm now 19 weeks and scan showed that this is a posterior placenta so I feel (inside and outside) and see baby moving around..

One half week left till scan.. Grin

I got to 17 weeks before I realised I was pregnant. I had irregular periods anyway, so didn't suspect a thing until my waistline expanded!

I wouldn't worry too much either. I'm 9 wks and since I found out about 4wks ago I've been a bit tired slightly sore boobs. I had my first scan last WK and found out we are having triplets! So no I wouldn't worry!
