is this the start of SPD?

I'm really not sure if its anything or if its just a lovely side effect of pregnancy no 2!!!

I am really struggling to stand up from sitting particularly on the floor but also from chairs. (Often sat on the floor at work in a nursery or with my DS1 at home). I have to sleep with something between my knees or its too uncomfortable to sleep. Pain is there pretty much constantly but worse if I go up/down stairs too much or stand for any period of time. So could this be the start of SPD? Or am i probably being pathetic?!?!

Was at the maternity assessment unit on Thursday with cramp that was diagnosed as pelvic ligament pain and was sent away with a prescription for codeine.

TIA xxx

Yes my spd can be a bit like that although to be honest I can't normally get to/up from the floor b without a lot of pain. Primary school teacher and kids have had to get used to me being a lot kess mobile. There are positions to help move around/ get up etc that do help. Try strengthening your pelvic floor as well as that's what most of my stretches are...its horrible Sad
