Hi there people!

I'm nearly 35 + 2 for last couple of weeks I've had very regular bowel movements nearly every day. Yesterday I had two and the morning again and was border line runny (I am sorry)

I've spend most of my pregnancy constipated and thought it would get worse further on.

Even before pregnancy I'm not some one who has a poo every days. I have a pattern of every 3 days. Always been like this.

So how come now I'm so regular. I've had the runs a couple of times in last couple of weeks.

Have you been paying more attention to diet recently, e.g. eating more fruits and vegetables and drinking more water?

I know your body makes you go before labour sometimes but maybe it's because there's less room in there now?

Not really much change to diet I drink lots of water but have the whole way through pregnancy. And food wise nothings changed for months :)

Loose and more frequent stools can be a build up to labour.

I'm 38 weeks and over the last week I've had diarrhoea on about 5 occasions despite normally being the opposite due to iron supplements.

I'm seeing my Consultant later today about possibly doing my CS sooner rather than later (also been having painful BH) and I will definitely be mentioning my diarrhoea!!
