am 34+4 and just bought one for after the birth

as they are meant to help your tummy go down quicker and bring everything back together, and also give good support post c section

has anyone used them and had good results? from a quick google before I bought I have seen generally good reviews

Not used but have one ready. My physio said it would be good for strengthening core muscles up a bit again- but not to wear it all the time so the muscles don't become dependent on it :-)

I had one last time and it was good for holding in my belly. Was like total jelly for first couple of weeks after birth - used to wobble A LOT when I laughed. (And laughed a lot in those first few weeks)
I returned to my normal shape fairly quickly but hard to say if belly bandit made the difference - everyone is different.

oh that sounds encouraging then secondtime

how long did you wear it for each day?

and was it uncomfortable? as I always find my tummy is really sensitive and a bit sore for first week or so

I used an orthopaedic corset. A very unsexy velcro thing in beige.
i got back down to pre baby size within a couple of weeks though albeit a slightly wobblier version.
I don't know if it was the corset or luck but it did stop my back from hurting.
