HI all, looking for some reassurance, I am 14 + 3 and for a bit yesterday and most of today and I have had a strange period pain like sensation on and off, it only lasts for 1 or 2 secs at a time and is not particularly painful. I have been extremely lucky and had a very easy 14 weeks with hardly any symptoms and therefore for me this is not normal, just wondered if anyone else has experienced this? x

I am having similar. I am assuming it is just everything stretching and moving in there. (I'm also 14+3 today!)

I've been having this too, I'm 14 weeks. Strange little tingly niggly period pains.

I'm 20 weeks and have had mild period type pains and twinges intermittently all the way through. It's most likely everything stretching and growing to accommodate baby but if it becomes painful it would probably be best to check with your midwife.

I'm 11+2 and I also get the odd little sharp pain. From memory, I think I seemed to get these during my previous 2 pregnancies. Like others have said, I just put it down to things stretching and growing in there.

Very likely that you are feeling your muscles and ligaments stretching.
This can be sudden twinges, period type pains or mild twitches. And can be felt all over belly/bump, low in the abdomen (as low as your pubic bone) and even an ache in your cervix.

As long as the pain isnt occurring regularly, becoming intolerable or accompanied by bleeding then chances are all is well and what you are feeling.
