Oh god I need to MOAN. I'm so fed up with feeling so uncomfortable. My bump is sore, tight and I'm having a ridiculous amount of Braxton hicks, some mild and some really quite painful. Constant lower back ache and tits feel like they are on fire! I'm SO over this shit and just want her to arrive!

Anyone else fancy a bloody good whinge with me?!

Yes please. I'm 40+3 and was convinced that I'd be early. Apparently not! Uncomfortable, can't sleep and sick of DH moaning that he's tired when I've lay and listened to him snore all night! I've had pains for the past 3 weeks but they never develop into anything. I'm also sick of the texts asking if I've had ds1 - like I'd not tell my close family? And if one more person says "enjoy it" I swear I don't know what I'll do! Lol.

Thanks Fantastic for giving me my 3am rant. Anyone else care to join us?

38 weeks too - also massively uncomfortable (and with a breech baby so head under my rib cage).

I had a failed ECV so now I am bruised and sore on top of everything else (heartburn, itchy bump, no sleep, BHs), just glad I am on final countdown for ELCS week after next!

Ouch mrs that sounds grim!
alice me too, DH gas complained about my tossing and turning keeping him awake... I had no sleep and killer heartburn and had to go to the loo 4 bloody times. Who has the better deal hey?! Grrrrrr

I'm so miserable and uncomfortable and tired and swollen and booooooooo. I feel like all I do is moan and moan. I should be enjoying the last moments of just having DD1 (3) but instead I just want this baby out and am looking forward to the newborn/toddler hell joy.

Doesn't help that everyone keeps saying second babies are earlier. Liars Wink 39+2 and could be another 2 weeks. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Tossing and turning? Wow, once I'm in bed I cannot move from the position I lay down in without a winch! I have to get hauled out with help from my DH just for the loo. Bless him, he's an angel.

38+6 here feeling very uncomfortable, out of breath, exhausted and awaiting the little arrival. Two of my work colleagues just had their little boys ten days early still got one week till due date so heres hoping. Sleep is non existent now as like mrsmugoo says its too hard to turn over without causing agonising pain in my crotch Sad cant sleep without a pillow under bump as its hurts amd getting out of bed it feels like im trying to lift a whale with me. Thankfully my wee trip is jst once a night! Oh and heartburn definately getting worse any he is sitting high so eating is a nightmare! Pls come early lo x

Ooh, I'd love a moan please.

38+4, head mostly engaged (waddling like John Wayne), constipation and piles (despite eating tons of fibre etc), made worse by my body feeling confused about what a baby's head feels like v what the need to poo feels like. Aching bump, BH (worse in the evening) like mild to moderate period pain with occasional full-on cramps. Baby squirming and wiggling like he can't get comfy as he's getting too big. Occasional waves of hormonal meltdown (sobbed my eyes out yesterday as DH hadn't washed-up the best saucepan to make porridge in - crime of the century), things I want to do v being too knackered to do them, and a sleep 'pattern' without any pattern.

Phew, that's better.

Laughing at the saucepan/porridge DVCT! That's precisely the sort of thing I get wound up about!

Back ache, constant worry that baby is ok, not sure if his head is in the right position, DH irritating me for no particular reason (poor thing), generally feeling like a whale.. But not sleeping properly does not go down well with me and makes everything even worse. Luckily DH got me this long pillow called 'Cuddle and Sleep' from Amazon recently and it has been SO useful in reducing my pelvic pain and helping me to reduce the amount of turning during the night (which used to be what felt like every 5 minutes). I also like to carry it around the house with me during the day as I lay on the sofa (become a real couch potato lately) to help with the discomfort. It is also a great tool to gently hit DH during the night if he dares snore... But it won't stop you from going to the toilet constantly i'm afraid! Not long to go ladies!!
