What do you ladies mean by 'the show'

Probs laugh at me for asking this.

The show is that like waters breaking or mucas plug, I'm so clueless and a tiny bit scared to google things lol

The show is the mucus plus...a blob (or bits over several days) of jelly like blood stained mucus. I had it with both pregnancies over two days and then labour started.
