I had my meeting with the consultant and midwife today following all my anxiety and stress about the previous 3rd degree tear and a possible section (or not). All is sorted now and I got my date for a section. So incredibly relieved just to know what's going to happen.
Thank you SO much to everyone here who was kind and supportive and offered their stories and advice. I read everyone's comments and you were all really, really helpful and lovely. Really appreciate it!! hooray for the internets!
