How tired were you at 33 weeks?

33 weeks with dc2 and just feel constantly tired. Don't remember feeling quite so tired last time. Have had alot of sleep this weekend as dc1 had Friday night at gps and dh left me to sleep in this morning, plus had an hours nap yesterday afternoon. But still feel I could easily sleep again this afternoon. Not anaemic at moment -bloods checked a couple of weeks ago. Sleep a bit disturbed by hip pain and toilet visits.
Is this tiredness just normal for this stage?

I'm 34 weeks and similar - also don't remember being this bad last time but DH swears I was, so thinking maybe I just don't remember it!

Im 33 weeks also and do have to say that the tiredness has seemingly got worse just recently! This is dc3, got one at 7 and one at 3, so no rest either. Yesterday i went shoppin and felt breathless all way round (due bloods this week) as i wondered about anemia. But im generally feeling weary and as if i cba with much at all right now. Like you i have to make several toilet trips a night and my 3 year old ds has decided to revert back to babyhood recently and wakes up shouting out at least 3 times a night.
Im loiking forward to getting my body back now as im sure a new born plus 2 dc cant be as tiring as two dc plus pregnancy!

I am also 33 weeks, first pregnancy, and the last week or two I have felt really exhausted and struggled with how tired I am. Everything feels a bit of an effort... Definitely need to slow down and take things a bit easier.

It's reassuring that I'm not alone! Just feeling a bit pathetic -dh is very sympathetic but I feel as though I'm being lazy! Am so fed up of night time toilet visits too! But in reality am still getting longer stretches of sleep than I will once baby arrives so probably shouldn't complain! !

36 weeks here and shattered, although I am trying to squeeze a bit too much in to life at the moment x

Definitely - it's really hit me the last week or so (am 31 weeks)

This is DC4, probably had it the other times as well but my mind helpfully blanked it out!

I also know this is the stage where time slides to a halt. So many people have said "Oooh, not long then!" and the only rational response to that (other than biffing them on the head with my handbag) is "Actually it's more like eternity..". If they're parents they suddenly remember too and quickly agree!

It's one thing to have a long wait when you're in relatively good health and lots of energy.. it's another to do so when you're completely useless all round and can't even do anything active to help pass time!

26 weeks and looking after 17 month old and v tired. I could sleep at any time of day but so uncomfortable in bed I don't sleep well. Dreading how much worse it could get! Maybe my bloods next week will show something up.

I'm 28 weeks and I've currently just woke up from a 3 hour nap lol. Was at work this morning run off my feet, so put my head down for 30 winks 3 hours later crap! I won't sleep tonight and I've got work at 7 tomorrow lol

I've noticed feeling a bit more sleepy again how I did in first trimester,

Think its normal uncomfortable in bed on a night aching being kicked and needing to wee ALL the time. X

if you're due in March head over to the Martians ante natal chat area, there are women who will most definitely sympathise, though atm there are quite a few with the nesting bug and being super effective at washing! I'm 33wks on Monday and have come out of a sleepy week, am hoping tomorrow energy is still there, I have noticeably got more sensible and am scheduling in more breaks Grin

hideously tired at 33 weeks - i think that was the peak of my wee-ing during the night too - 9 times in one night was my record, so hardly ever slept.

34 weeks here and shattered. SPD and insomnia isn't helping! I'm actually beginning to wonder if I will sleep better when baby arrives as at least I won't be in pain... just constantly interrupted Grin

I do remember in my first pregnancy, despite worse SPD than now, getting some really good deep sleeps in the last couple of weeks, almost like my body was stocking up?! Really hope that happens again!

I was absolutely exhausted and ended up having to finish work earlier than expected. I found that my tiredness lifted again at about 37 weeks x

Even though your blood tests aren't showing anaemia, i would like to bet that upping your iron in your diet would perk you up a little.

Any food that goes black after it has been peeled/chopped is high in iron (little pearl of wisdom from my MW recently there!) ie: potato, advocado, banana, etc.

Also dried apricot, dark leafy veg, cereal.

A little bit of one of these each day might help OP.

Iron supplements can cause constipation - i know, i was there about 10 weeks ago! Grin Best to do it with diet if you can.

I got hit by the truck of exhaustion at almost 33 weeks exactly. Slept a lot then was less drained by the end of the week. Kinda back to normal now at 35 weeks.
