Confused regarding pregnancy symptoms

I am roughly 6 wks pregnant with dc3. I am using cyclogest pessaries 400 mg at night prescribed for a luteal phase defect after having no problems what so ever conceiving dc1 & dc2.

This is my 4th pregnancy, I had an early miscarriage in Jan. With all 3 pregnancies I have either felt nausea from the moment I got my bfp, cramping regularly as if AF was coming and sore breasts. With this pregnancy, I have nothing and I am worried the cyclogest is prolonging a failing pregnancy. I have been told this would not happen but I can't help but think this.

I am just wondering if anyone has any experience of using cyclogest in subsequent pregnancies and any advice or reassurance in general. Thanks.

Hi
Firstly congrats.
I have had 2 mc's previously but with this pregnancy (now 14 weeks) I was put on cyclogest and as far as I can tell it made everything fine.
My symptoms have been very different this time around as well.
Hope all is ok but if ur worries contact your early pregnancy unit and ask them for advice xx

Congratulations.
I have had four pregnancies and lost two babies. My most recent pregnancy had almost no symptoms at the start, some minimal morning sickness but that was about it. During the other three pregnancies I was really sick, tired, dizzy etc so I was convinced this one would fail. It didn't and I think they are right when they say every pregnancy is different. Good luck anyway.

Hi there, congrats on your pregnancy!
I am 5 weeks pg after successful ivf and am also on cyclogest, same dose until 8 weeks. I haven't really had any symptoms either - occasionally breasts feel tender and I feel full really quickly when eating (and then sit in discomfit for a couple of hours being too full!). I spoke to the doctor and they said it's not unusual to not feel symptoms at this stage. Hope everything works out!!

Thank you all for taking the time to reply and congratulations also on your pregnancies.

Unfortunately I have started spotting tonight. I had a bad feeling about this pregnancy with the distinct lack of symptoms. Not quite sure if I stop using the cyclogest or wait.

Thanks once again.
