Worried about pain from twins moving in opposite directions starting labour early.

I have posted this on the multiples board but this area gets a lot more traffic.

Currently 35+2 with dcda twins. Dt1 is crushing and wriggling against my pubic bone as well as kicking like a mule, and feels like she is trying to claw her way out or that she might drop out ( I know she won't actually do this)

Dt2 is breech under my ribs and is trying to escape in the opposite direction, and is VERY active.

The resulting pain is incredible I am actually crying out in pain.

They calm down for a few minutes and then she is kicking off again, which seems start him going crazy. ATM you can clearly see where his head, bum and legs are moving he is pushing up so hard.

I'm due an elcs due to previous health problems in my last pregnancy and I'm scared that if they go on like this I might go into labour...dt1 is certainly getting into position.

What's your thoughts?

Speak to your mw

Maybe consider having elcs date brought forward?

My labour started like that (not with twins). I described it to dh the same way; that dd was literally going to claw her way out. she was also stretching her arms and legs as far as they would go. It went on for nearly 2 hours. The pain was worse then any contractions I experienced. 4 hours later I was 5cm dilated.

Thanks, they calmed down completely and I got some sleep. No signs of labour whatsoever.

I was just worried about everything starting off, and whilst uncomfortable is expected, bloody pain like that is not.

I can see its going to be a long fortnight! G

Unfortunately it'll probably be like this until the end. I've had 2 sets of twins and the last set were the same, wasn't fun, bloody painful and every day I wanted it to be over.

A lot quieter today, but Ive woken up with burst blood vessles under the skin on my stomach

Who knew that could happen!

I've escaped stretch marks, despite measuring 48 cm on Monday when the MW got her tape out, so half expected them to make an apperance, but these purple blotches an lines are just bizzarre!
