33 weeks and felt horrendous this morning. Carried on doing my chores and just had no motivation all day which is really unlike me. Put my feet up for half hour and actually fell asleep for 2 hours and now feel like new. A lesson learnt to surviving the next few weeks. It's a revelation!

I did this yesterday after tiring myself out doing housework. It was a revelation for me too, so obvious really! I feel like the problem is if you say to anyone you feel like you need a nap they find it helpful to say "oh you won't have time to nap/it will only get worse!"

I'm 36 weeks now... will bloody nap if I want.

I get told to enjoy it while it lasts too, as if im not aware im having a tiny, demanding human to look after forevermore, im carrying him around all day hence the reason im tired, he's heavy!

I have to have a sit down after any activity now, today I took DD to yoga then just went to one shop and home and that was me whacked for the day! I feel like a lump but make sure I rest as much as I can when she's at preschool. Currently 34+5, half term will be week 37. Dreading it. Listen to your body, nothing gained through martyrdom!

At about 16 weeks i felt awful, so tired, exhausted, crap! I had to walk to shops but oreturning i just gave in to it. Put my feet up expecting to zonk out for rest of day and just 10 mins later i felt fabulous!!!

I avoided napping at a certain point in case I couldn't sleep at night...but then my sleep became so dysfunctional at night I cat napped whenever I could. Highly recommend it! It's similar to what you end up doing when the baby arrives too - sleeping when they sleep means lots of little naps!
