Just been diagnosed with this and its really bad
Do they take extra precaution for this at all while you are in labour?

Do not let them do forceps, avoid being induced as it will mean you have to be lying down on your back and can't move about. I had spd and was induced and ended up with forceps. As a result I have been on crutches for 4 weeks (son is 12 weeks old). Please make sure they know you have spd, make it clear and do not let them forget it!
Spd is very difficult but can be managed! Mine was managed very badly, so please, keep shouting it, make sure your birth partner knows and shouts it too!
Good luck sweetie xxx
