Lump above public bone

Hi all

I'm 16+5 with my first baby. This is probably the most ridiculous question ever so apologies in advance..

So far I have no bump or weight gain. Tonight when lying on my back I can feel a small sausage shaped weird lump just above my pubic bone. It's a weird sensation, a bit like a number two blockage (sorry sorry tmi) or trapped wind, but I'm fine in that department.

Is this finally the start of a baby bump? It feels so strange and low and sticking out more on the right than the left, I thought it would be popping out from so much higher up.

Again, this is probably THE most stupid question ever. This is all so new to me!

Thank you :)

Don't ever feel embarrassed or stupid asking questions :) It's my first baby too and my bump started off growing as a bump all the way across and didn't have a sausage shape. BUT everyone is different! I did start feeling movements and little kicks from 14 weeks do it might be his arm or leg you can feel etc. Cant really give any advice but you can always check at your next midwife appointment. It's exciting though when you can see changes and feel movements etc :) best of luck with your pregnancy : ) X
