I just wondered how many weeks roughly you ate when you start to see your baby move and kick?

Depends on first, second or third, where your placenta is and all sorts of other things!

For me, I was 16 weeks (my first), despite anterior placenta. I had lost a lot of weight due to morning sickness and that may have contributed to the early sensation. I think usually it's around 18-20 weeks with the first, but for some it's not till 23-24 weeks.

Some people say they can feel it super-early, ie around 12 weeks.

Everyone's different, and so's each pregnancy! How far along are you?

I felt little 'popping' sensations from around 14 weeks, then have had proper kicks from 18 weeks. My DH can now feel them at 20 weeks Smile Oh, and I can just about see my bump wobble with the bigger kicks! It's very strange... It's my first, but I'm very skinny which could be why it was fairly early.

I remember at 21 weeks having strong flutters but not consistently and I think the kicks came soon after.

First baby...felt proper flutters at about 18 Weeks. I thought I felt things before but at the time I want sure. Can feel kicks at 22 Weeks but have anterior placenta so I think they're muffled a bit. Can't wait for dh to feel them!

I felt DD move at 16 weeks, best way I can describe it was like a little mouse tickling me... I jumped off my chair at work when it happened, it felt very weird!!! Interesting to see if movement happens earlier this time (expecting DC2)

Sorry for the daft question but how and when do you find out about the position of your placenta? I'm 17+5 but no kicks or flutters yet...

Placenta position should be on your 20 weeks scan summary

Could see my bump moving from about 20 weeks if I sat still and watched it, so about four weeks after first feeling it.

Gillybean they usually tell you at the 20 week scan, or put it in your notes at least. That's when I found out it was anterior (on the front ie bump wall) and also quite low down. Lots of people feel less movement if it's anterior because the baby's either kicking into your back or your placenta, neither of which you'd feel!

I think maybe the reason I could feel movement quite early on was because the placenta is low, so there was lots of other places above that it could make its presence felt! Even now, I feel next to nothing below my bellybutton, unless it's on the sides.
