I'm 17+2 and I think I've got trapped wind. Anyone got any suggestions for getting rid of it? Can't leave the house as my baby is sleeping.

It's bloody agony Shock

Oh I did a search but all the threads were about babies with wind.

Have u got any gripe water? If so that works or if not boiled water with lemon in (or on its own) and just let it cool so u can drink it.
I have suffered terribly for last couple of weeks x

Try shoving your bum in the air whilst crouching on all fours and rocking a bit. This sometimes helps x

Get on your hands and knees, or knees and elbows and rock back and forth for a while.
I have IBS and it works for me.
Sometimes there's nothing better than a good fart GrinBlush

I find that forcing yourself to burp gets rid of it eventually. Might take a few goes though. And walking about helps too.

Yet another warm drink Smile

I've heard that.peppermint tea helps, and it seems to work for me (or that could just be a placebo Grin )

Thanks for all the other suggestions. Had a big fart in bed last night which helped me get to sleep but I've woken up this morning and its just as bad. I'm off to get on all fours, whilst drinking hot beverages, forcing burps and rocking about a bit. Wish me luck!
