18+4 & pain on left hand side of lower abdomen

I've had a constant pain in the left hand side of my lower abdomen since yesterday afternoon. It got quite bad in the the night quite near my old c section scar, but has eased off this morning since going to the loo. But it is still there... Is it something to do with constipation (have been a bit bunged up but this has now eased since this morning), could it be dehydration? Though I am trying to drink a lot of liquid...or something more sinister? My bump has suddenly grown as well and it feels a little like stitch, so wondered if it was just ligament pain, or could be baby in a weird position though not sure it would be big enough just yet to cause this? Should I contact a MW? ... I don't remember anything like this the first time round and it is uncomfortable. Advice gratefully received!

Could be trapped wind or ligament pain, I get the same thing am 21 weeks.

I've had something that sounds very similar all day, but on the right side instead. Not had it in either of my last two pregnancies, but very pleased to hear I'm not alone! It's the second time it's happened in this pregnancy, and I think it's probably ligaments - I carried my 2 year old around a lot two days ago because he was poorly, so I suspect it has something to do with that.

Could be any of those things really, have suffered with all of them at some point!! But if you are overly concerned ask your MW's advice :)
