Seriously, i am absolutely HUGE. 27 weeks and i am as big as i was with my ds at 35/37 weeks.

I have stretch marks developing....did not get a single one with ds.

My back pain makes me cry every day....believe me, i am HARD as nails, absolutley nothing makes me cry, but i cant stand it its so bad most days.

I cant breath, i fnd myself taking huge gulps of air involuntarily. I am unable to breath properly

I feel like i have eaten a huge meal all of the time, full to bursting and uncomfortable.

This little miracle keeps kicking me in my foof, right down there, its not pleasant!

How many times can a girl go for a wee in one day??? Jeez the wee!

BUT
Last night i had cramp, you know that cramp that makes you sit up and scream out with the pain in the back of the calf?
Stuck my leg in the air, DH grabbed my leg and pushed my foot toward my tummy..and it stopped, like magic, it just stopped before it could get to that point where you just dont know what to do with yourself with the pain! LOVE my dh for discovering that cure!!!

Apart from that, all is great GrinGrinSmile

How can 2 pregnancies be so very different????

I'm where you are, in almost every way, but I'm 30 weeks and I feel like I'm almost dead. I know my iron's quite low so I'm taking some - but I still feel dreadful.

No appetite, clammy and weak and washed out. I feel really full when I'm not, everything aches, I can't sit down and then be able to get up again...I can't believe there's 10 weeks to go.

Trying to find positives though: I don't have the dry mouth thing I had last time. And most of the time I don't feel so sick any more. And I haven't had any UTIs.

I'm sorry you are feeling so crap as well....and thankyou for the cramp tip, I keep getting it in my left leg and found that pushing my foot against the wall also stops it (similar position to what your DH did I suppose!) Smile

Thanks Eds,nice to have sympathy for a fellow hippo Smile

I have 100 positives to cancel out every single one of the negatives, i am SO grateful to be where i am, i am so lucky i know this.
But just need to vent a wee bit, quietly on here to any one that wants to listen.
Thanks have these, not long to go now xxxx

nana I could have written your post, except I'm 2 weeks behind you at 25wks.

I'm sick of being asked if I'm having twins or people assuming I must be about to pop and being shocked that I still have another 15wks to go! Not sure why I'm so big since I'm still vomiting on a daily basis?!

And the back pain is truly awful, can't get comfortable at all. Or I'll find a semi comfortable position but then the heartburn will kick in Angry

This is my first so don't have anything to compare it to but I'm pretty sure I'm having it quite rough?! Either that or I'm a complete wimp!

Ok moan over... Blush

I feel your pain about the cramps. Today I'm moaning about being 26 weeks preg and having sinusitis that I can only take paracetamol for, its a good job I have to sleep sitting up to help them drain cos my indigestion is so bad that when I lie down sick pours into the back of my throat. IF I was sleeping that is, and not getting woken every 3 minutes by a grizzling congested almost 2 year old!

Ah that's better [hgrin]

Well here are some for you too Thanks as you've made me feel if not much better, at least less alone! I hope things settle down and you manage to get through the rest of it without suffering too badly xx

Are you having a girl this time ;)

My friend had three sons, then she was HUGE with her fourth pregnancy, I mean way bigger - and it was a DD! :)

By the way I'm 27 weeks too and I can't breathe either. Oh, and I feel like an elephant.

I feel all of your pain!

I'm only 24 weeks but almost as big as I was with DD at well over 30 weeks. Also, I can feel the beginnings of SPD and my hips are AGONY in the evenings.

My nose has been blocked for weeks and have had the flu, and then the jab, which gave me the flu again!

I have been feeling very, very sorry for myself. Even more sorry that i can't have a martini to cheer myself up (and I don't usually drink martinis, but have been craving one for weeks - bizarre and perverse!)

My sympathy to you all.

Slightly under ripe bananas are meant to be good for cramp. I ate loads in my last pregnancy because I was always getting agonising cramp in my legs. Still got cramps but was scared not to eat them in case I got even more cramps.

This is my 5th pregnancy. The first 3 were a breeze but the 4th one and this one were/have been awfull. Queenofthedrama like you I am still being sick and I'm 25 weeks. Thought with all the sickness it would have at least kept the weight gain down, but I am massive and also sick of people asking if it's twins.

If it has anything to do with it or just coincidence I don't know but my first 3 were all boys and my 4th was a girl. Don't know about this one yet. Maybe I'm feeling rubbish because its another girl.

Yup! I'm 35 weeks and having all these issues, along with the most horrendous pain under my ribs on my right. The kind of pain that makes SPD seem like a little niggle. I want to scream a LOT of the time. I've had several near meltdowns while out and about.

And now my baby's transverse and I'm supposed to be spending time doing postures to move the baby. But I can only do them if I have a little sob at the same time because of the pain.

Someone please remind me of all this when I think a DC3 would be a good idea! Hmm

Have you been checked out for gallbladder issues? Right side pain in that area can be related, though I hope it's just pg stuff x

Report
nananaps · 30/10/2012 16:48

No idea what i am having, and its been 10 years since i was pregnant with my son, but i dont remember being as distressed and uncomfortable as this until the very end.

I kept thinking "be careful what you wish for, be careful what you wish for" and this is the answer to my longing for a baby for the last 5 years.

Now keep thinking "dont be ungrateful, dont be ungrateful" !!!

Eds I've had liver function tests, but I don't know exactly what was tested for tbh. I never heard anything back so assumed it was fine. The GP did give me codydramol to take for the pain of that, severe headaches, back pain etc etc, but I've found out I shouldn't be taking them during pregnancy. Grrr!

Marcheline · 30/10/2012 16:56

nananaps - yes, chanting positive phrases through gritted teeth seems to work fairly well for me too!

IMLO - that sounds really awful, am so sorry for you. Nothing particularly helpful to suggest, just Brew and sympathy

Well actually, not to want to worry you but now you mention headaches as well, upper bump pain can also be a sign of PE. I am probaby just flinging extreme diagnoses at you in the dark here Grin so take me with a pinch of salt but do, do do make sure you get it checked out x

Report
ItsMyLastOne · 31/10/2012 12:07

Eds I know about the PE, but my blood pressure is normal (122/62 at last check) and nothing at all in my urine so my mw and gp aren't worried about it. I have another mw appt tomorrow so I'm sure I'll be checked over again. Thanks for the warning though, I know I've read lots of things on here that I didn't know about before so it's always better to mention these things. Smile

Now I just can't wait to get this baby out and I seriously hope all the pain disappears overnight when she arrives! Hmm
