Am 25+4, every day i have horrible amounts of snot & phlem which makes me sick in the mornings.

My sinus' also really hurt behind eyes & nose it goes away if i take some paracetamol but i hate taking anything when pregnant.

I've read its quite a common thing to have increased fluids when pregnant, anyone in same boat?

Hi, my left sinus got painfully blocked at the very beginning of the pg. Doctor gave me a couple of nasal sprays and a warming up cream for my forehead. I was afraid to take any painkillers. Luckily, it passed within a week and I hope it doesn't come back!

Hi, I haven't had it that bad but generally stuffy nose what seems forever. I wake up in the morning with a definite need to blow my nose (which is not normal when not pregnant). Its got worse since being in hospital - I'm blaming the dry air - a shower is a great relief but apart from that it just feels a bit stuffed up and dry all the time. Also (possibly tmi) I don't actually have nosebleeds but tiny spots of blood when I blow my nose - sometimes fresh, sometimes dried - I assume this is all related. Just to be clear, this is one tiny red spot on a tissue - 2-3 times in the morning sometimes - not really what you could even call bleeding.

Yes I have this! Went to GP after being unable to sleep with pain and have been given antibiotics for sinus infection, and told to take paracetamol. Still really hurts though. Sticking my head over a bowl of steam is the best thing I've found.

I'm 16+2 and had this for 4weeks driving me nuts thought it was flu jab, then a cold now I realise its a pregnancy thing. Wasn't expecting that 1!

I'm 11+2 and my nose has been blocked up from the very start! I had a cold when I found out I was preg so just thought it was to do with that but it's stayed! I just have long showers and have to blow my nose about 50 times a day but I've just chosen to ignore it now!

Yep I have it too, although not so bad by sounds of it. Am nearly 20 weeks and have a lot of snot and nose blowing and occasionally painful sinuses/headaches that only go with paracetamol. Ain't pregnancy glam! Wink
