I'm 9+5 today and seemed to have got away without any of the usual horrendous pregnancy symptoms so have been feeling rather smug, until last night. Spent the whole night with jiggly legs (sort of cramping, growing-pain-like feeling), and then this morning I feel as if I've done a Jillian Michaels workout - every muscle in both my legs, and my bum is in agony and I can barely walk! Is this normal or do I need to dash to the doctor? I'm a bit concerned I might have some sort of clot tbh... Has anyone had this?

A clot would mostly likely cause pain in a particular area and feel hot to touch. Do you have those symptoms?

I'm 11 weeks today. I can carry out tasks when I have to, survived at work by taking time owing when I really struggled but now I'm on leave, I'm being so lazy! Absolutely shattered. Still in my jammies watching tv at the moment!

I don't have any swelling, and I've googled DVTs and I definitely don't have one - it's just so weird that both my legs feel like I've done a marathon. I work in my pyjamas from home, and haven't had the energy to do anything lately, which is why I'm a bit Shock that I'm in so much pain!

I haven't had it myself but it sounds like restless legs which is fairly common in pregnancy apparently. Try Google, I don't know how you stop it I'm afraid.

Get your DP to rub your the small of your back either side of your spine, just above your buttocks. See if that helps.

I get sciatica and it feels just like that, rubbing there seems to reset the nerves to the legs and stop some of the pain messages.
