27+5...are baby's kicks meant to hurt??

So in the last week or so, my baby's obviously got a lot bigger, cos now I am really feeling his movements in the womb.

In some ways it's lovely to feel him boogling about in there, but in other ways...it's really quite uncomfortable!! Anyone else feel like this?? Especially when he kicks or punches straight out towards my abomen wall, it feels really weird, and make's me wince. Can be embarassing in meetings at work Hmm.

Just wondered if anyone else found this experience less-than-blissful?! From watching TV and reading books etc, I thought I would be rubbing my belly with a beautific smile on my face the whole time. Instead, I find myself wincing and muttering "ow! You little shit!". Bad mummy.

Hello,

At first I found the movements lovely and comforting and I still do, but that's not to say I don't have my moments. currently 32 weeks and sometimes it is just downright uncomfortable.

But at least I know he's ok in there :)

They're especially sore when aimed right at your cervix

Yes, they both caused me so much pain and yet neither went for the cervix. It passes.... Once they're born they'll stand on your nipples, pull your hair, bite your ears etc. ;)

Oh yes last time when DS was breech he was jumping up and down on my cervix All The Time. Made it really uncomfortable.

I feel your pain! My little monster has taken to doing full body-length stretches. It feels like my bump is being pulled in two opposite directions and looks flipping weird too! I'm 30 weeks and am hoping that as the baby grows, he/she will soon not have quite as much room for all of the acrobatics :)
