I'm 6 weeks and I have had a stabbing pain in the left of my tummy, in line with my belly button about half way between my belly button and my side. Should I got to the doctors tomorrow? I'm scared

Hello, congratulations on your PG

Google 'round ligament pain' and see if this sounds like what you are experiencing? (It is a sort of stretching pain common in early PG)??

Have also just read this:

"Round ligament pain is quick and doesn't last long.

Call your health care provider immediately if you also have:

severe pain
pain that lasts for more than a few minutes
fever
chills
pain on urination"

Hi.

I had round ligament pain the whole way through my pregnancy. As annoying as it was the main thing was that it was ok and didnt mean anything was wrong with baby Smile

Hi, I'm ok thanks. The pain has gone but I'm still convinced things are not right. I'm going for a viability scan on saturday but I'm pretty certain its going to be bad news :(

Laura, i'll be thinking of you on Saturday.

I've got my fingers crossed it will be good news after all.

I've unfortunately had bad news twice before, so I know how bloody awful it can be.

Please pm me if there is anything I can do to help you.

I hope things go well tomorrow laura.

I've had a lot of pain in weeks 5/6 in both my pregnancies and (touch wood as I'm only 7wks with this one) all has been well.

With ds I had severe cramping and also spotting around the 6 week mark but a scan showed that everything was where it should be.

Fingers x for you.
