Strange sensation below bump and in groin/bum

Okay I keep getting these odd sensations below my bump, in the groin and bum. It feels like bubbles popping, Baby Harry is almost fully engaged and so I don't think it can be hicups or could it.

I'm 37 weeks & 5 days and he keeps wriggling and sticking things out from the right handside of my bump.

Any ideas what the popping could be? xx

I'd guess hiccups - feels a bit like a heart beating and if you are engaged, you will feel it down there as that's where its diaphragm will be. My baby gets them all the time Smile

Hi KatyJ26 it is the oddest sensation to say the least. He does get them a lot. :)

I'd say the same - if they're evenly spaced and come and go, then it sounds like hiccups to me too! They always make me think of a heartbeat, too.

It may not be hiccups..I've had that 'popping' thing too, last week was really bad one night when laid in bed, was completely different to when baby has hiccups. Was very strange to say the least..had it last night to and I actually heard a pop, kinda thought hey was it my waters but nothing came out. I can't help you in saying what it is, as I am just as baffled..but I can say for me. Hiccups felt completely different

Thanks luckysocks

Hi Confused I get them worst when I am laid down I am wondering if I am imagining them. These are like loads of pops and go on for a while. I was really hoping that these were baby trying to break my waters.

xx
