Boots, Lloyds the chemist, sometimes from hospitals, Hire or buy on eBay, buy on amazon. I am sure someone can recommend a good online hire co, I've never used one.

I've just ordered mine tonight following a recommendation from here, an elle tens 7 wk hire for £23.50 inc postage, same one as mothercare do for £27 & lloyds for £30.

I'll let you know how the service is if you aren't in a rush.

I bought one from lloyds pharmacy for £30! All you need is a machine with a boost button

I had a quick google and you can buy them quite reasonably. Just make sure the one you pick has the boost button for during a contraction. This one looks good

If you are likely to use it more than once, ie for a subsequent pregnancy, it's cheaper to buy. So far, I used mine, then 2 more friends, and I am due to use it again. I buy replacement pads each time.

Hi Izzy was that £30 one suitable for labour because when I popped into Lloyds to look at them, they stated that they weren't on the box - also about £3o ish. If it is ok which one was it? Ta

Ask your midwife, mine hires one out to you at 36 weeks and collects it when doing the 1st home visit after birth for £10.

The ones that say not suitable for labour dont have the boost button which you use during a contraction.

Hi george i had a look and they dont seem to stock the one i bought now. Boots has some for around £45 which is still not too bad if you plan on using it again. Sorry! I hadnt realised they had stopped stocking it!
