Anyone else stuck at work today and feeling pregnant?

Morning All,

I went back to work yesterday after a glorious week off before Christmas. I'm not sure if its the post-holiday blues or a surge in pregnancy hormones, but I think I'd rather be almost anywhere else today.

I'm only 20 weeks as well!

Still stuck with a cold after 2 weeks or grim-ness, work in accounting so having to try and apply my sore brain to piles of data, really tired as 15 month old has been sleeping badly all week (teething...cold....hungry...growth spurt????). Want to go home but I can't justify it as I'm not sick as such, just having a miserable hormonal day. Utterly sorry for myself!!

Is anyone else at work today and feeling similar? Misery loves company afterall Grin.

I am at work and also feeling pregnant - 7 weeks so far. During the time off at Christmas, I think the rest and continuous eating made me feel like a normal person again - to the extent that I panicked it had all gone wrong and had to get a private scan to calm myself. Now I am back in work and feel horrible again Grin Grin Grin.

Not sure how I will deal once it is busy again as before xmas I felt terrible at work but at the moment, the nausea is quite reassuring and I can snooze at my desk when I want to.

I hope you feel better soon. Can you sneak off a little early or take an extended lunch?

Thanks guys!

Seems like we're all in different trimesters but still feeling the tiredness.

LIG, how are you getting on at 7 weeks? For me, first trimester is pretty rough with the tiredness, nausea and constant anxiety. Sleeping on the desk sounds like a perfect antidote though.

CatsRule - poor you! Those last few weeks are hellish when you're working. Wonder when most men would stop if they had the babies??

Yeah I'm in and there's about a million things to do as well. Only bright side is that it's no bother getting a seat on the train at the moment.

I was 20 weeks on Monday - when I got pregnant 20 weeks sounded like an exotic and amazing place to be, so far on etc... I'm just bored now though. It's not really far enough on to feel like mat leave is just around the corner (although as it's twins, I've been told to have the bag packed at 24 weeks just in case) but normal life seems a long long time ago.

Me too! Back at work, sniffling with the cold, trying to focus and MNing. Am 26+6 and agree with Buonasera - normal life seems an eternity ago. I am going to sneak away at 4, and at least it is only today and tomorrow and then off again until the 4th.

I think men would stop working at a BFP!!

My DH has had man-flu sniffle for the past couple of days...I think the boots advert sums it up nicely!

Although I;ve got 7 Fridays to go, with the holidays it's really only 5 full weeks...I'll be counting the days soon Grin

I am 32 weeks pregnant and leave work on Friday 20th Jan 2012. Can't wait. I am knackered!!! All I think about is having my baby. Whilst sitting typing this my little girl is kicking away inside and it's making me wanna leave work even more.
